Founded 1858 as Minmore Distillery by George & John Gordon Smith.
The distillery replaced Upper Drumin Distillery and Cairngorm-Delnabo Distillery, using the distilling license from Upper Drumin Distillery (acquired in 1824).
Known as Minmore-Glenlivet until 1880.
